We understand that some users prefer to use their own choice of browsers. However, there are known issues with certain browsers. Here is a list of current known issues.
Multiple permission requests
Firefox's management of permissions may result in users being prompted to authorize multiple permission requests in order to enable the microphone, webcam, and screen-sharing functionality. We’ve also seen videos rotating to the side in Firefox.
Default permissions blocked
When using the Brave browser, Butter's requests for microphone, webcam, and screen sharing permissions are pre-emptively blocked. Users may need to manually adjust their browser settings to enable these permissions.
