Role Overview:
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial business development professional to drive Rumi’s strategic partnerships with technology platforms, channel partners, and corporate customers. You know by looking at our offerings which partnerships will unlock growth, and you have a track record of doing exactly that. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with direct influence on our growth trajectory. You’ll shape our go-to-market partnerships strategy, source and close new partnership deals, expand partner revenue, and represent Rumi at industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, initiate, and nurture strategic partnerships with technology companies, resellers, and enterprise customers.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to expand Rumi’s reach in core markets, including SaaS, EdTech, professional services, and enterprise.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to build compelling joint value propositions and go-to-market programs.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, oversee onboarding, and drive partner activation and success.
- Track, measure, and report on partnership pipeline, deal progress, and revenue impact.
- Attend and represent Rumi at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor moves, and new partnership opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of partnerships, business development, or channel sales experience in B2B SaaS or technology.
- Demonstrated success sourcing, structuring, and scaling revenue-generating partnerships.
- Track record working with enterprise customers, ISVs, or major technology platforms (Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.).
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills; comfortable with C-level discussions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
