Off-The-Record mode gives you control over when your meeting is being transcribed and recorded. This feature is essential when you need to discuss sensitive information or have conversations that shouldn't be part of the permanent record.
During a typical Rumi meeting, conversations are captured through transcription and recording (if enabled). This creates your AI summaries and makes meetings searchable later. However, there are times when you might want to pause this temporarily.
When you go Off-The-Record:
Anyone who as logged into Rumi.ai in the meeting can initiate Off-The-Record mode by clicking the button near the AI Feed. When activated, everyone in the meeting will see an indicator showing that you're Off-The-Record. This ensures all participants know when conversations are being captured and when they're not.
Resuming normal recording and transcription is just as simple - anyone can click to go back "On-The-Record," and normal meeting capture will continue.
